In the middle of a heat wave in Central Virginia, the Ruckersville Volunteer Fire Company was hard at work on two structure fires.

At approximately 0730, Greene County units were dispatatched for a kitchen fire in Station 3's first due. Station 2 units assisted with knockdown and overhaul.

Later in the afternoon, Station 2 was dispatched mutual aid to Orange County (Barboursville Company 25) for a trailer fire. Station 2 units assisted with overhaul and water supply (Pictures below).
